Founded in 1945 and named in honor of Lt. John A. Stacker, American Legion Post 775 is a veteran-led nonprofit organization dedicated to serving veterans and the Loomis community. Operating out of the Loomis Veterans Memorial Hall, the post upholds the American Legion’s Four Pillars: Veterans Affairs & Rehabilitation, National Security, Americanism, and Children & Youth.
Programs & Community Involvement:
Monthly meetings on the first Monday at 6:00 PM
Annual Memorial Day ceremony at Del Oro High School
Sponsorship of Boys and Girls State delegates
Scholarships for Del Oro High School seniors
Support for local youth programs, including Boy Scouts Troop 12 and 4-H
Participation in Wreaths Across America and other remembrance events
Membership: Open to all U.S. military veterans interested in community service and camaraderie. Meetings are held at the Loomis Veterans Memorial Hall.
