Placer County Sheriff’s Dept.

The Placer County Sheriff’s Office provides law enforcement across unincorporated Placer County, from the Sacramento County line to the Nevada state border, and delivers contract police services to the Town of Loomis. Alongside patrol, the office runs the county jail, the coroner’s division, court security and civil process, plus specialist K9, marine patrol and cold case units. Headquarters is at 2929 Richardson Drive, Auburn.
