DESCRIPTION:The annual Memorial Day ceremony will again this year take place at the Del Oro High School Football Field. Flag drop by a Placer County Sheriff Dept helicopter is scheduled just after 9:00am. The National Anthem will be sung by a Del Oro student with a finish of a 3 plane flyover. American Legion Color Guard\, Speakers\, recognition of Veterans and free coffee and donuts are included.

DESCRIPTION:The second annual Loomis Classic Cars and Tractors Parade will again traverse the main street (Taylor Road\, between Walnut St and King Rd) of Loomis\, the morning of July 4th\, to celebrate our nation’s 250th anniversary. Go to the Loomis American Legion website to register and take part ($25 for general entry\, free for first responder\, nonprofits\, youth or senior organizations)! Any excess proceeds not spent on costs go to the American Legion programs to support local youth\, senior and Veteran programs.
