Recycling your Christmas tree is easy and free this season. Placer County is offering multiple drop-off locations, including a new Loomis site, to help keep trees out of the landfill. 🎄Just remove all ornaments, lights, and tinsel before dropping off. ❄️ Flocked trees are NOT accepted . ❄️ Trees collected will be recycled into compost to help reduce waste and methane emissions. Drop-off dates and locations vary, so check the flyer for details. A curbside option is also available for residents with green waste service.
