I have been in the mortgage industry since 1983. Originally, I began in the industry working as a loan packager for USDA. As prices rose, this program slowed to a crawl. I transitioned into the “real” world of the mortgage industry in the 90s as a construction loan processor for a local broker. Transferring over to the local bank we worked with, I began working as a junior underwriter/ processor with their correspondent division. Once I became a loan officer, I realized how I could make a difference in peoples lives. Not only giving them loan advice with the different programs offered but preparing my customers to be homeowners. I always want clients to know that I handle their loan as if it were my own.
